FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - Bar winning KAGNEY could hardly have done any better off a 508 day break at Kilbeggan the last day.Second then,two and a half lengths off Camlann,Noel Meade's runner tracked the leader in second there,and he disputed the lead at the third.Leading then three out out,the son of Kalanisi made a mistake at the next and he was soon ridden.Kagney attempted to assert and went on from before the last,but he was reeled back and strongly pressed early on the run-in.Headed inside the final furlong,the selection soon had no extra to give but he can surely be expected to come on from that outing and the longer trip here could well suit the former Andy Slattery point-to-pointer.Hickey's Rock,Vellutato and Quelle Belle Vie aren't easy to fancy but the rest have chances.
