Donal Coffey has put many good horses through his hands, the latest of which, Cloudy Copper, a winner at Lemonfield in March, is now reportedly in the ownership of J P McManus and under the care of Jonjo O'Neill. The Midleton, County Cork handler was on the mark for the first time since June 2010 on the racecourse proper when Top Madam won under Nina Carberry in the concluding kilbegganraces.ie (Pro/Am) INH Flat Race.

In front before halfway, the successful Beneficial mare, a well-backed favourite, stayed on well from the furlong pole to beat two other 'money horses,' Kilavalley and Moorhill Lad by a length and a half and eight and a half lengths. The very easy to back Andiamos was fourth.

Coffey said: "She's a good mare and she'll go hurdling next. She'll be kept on the go as she likes fairly good ground but not firm." (TW & EM)
