National Lady
It's been a great night's work, I'm absolutely delighted,. She did that well and well done to the lads, they called it right (with the trip). Kerri bought her for Mark Dobbin and I'm delighted for him as he's become a big supporter of the yard. He's got horses with Joseph (O'Brien) and Johnny (Murtagh) and myself and he deserves a lot of luck because he's putting plenty in. Obviously we'll start thinking about black-type but she's a long way off that at the minute. We'll bring her home and make a plan and see how she progresses. She shows me nothing at home though so it's hard to read.

Vivienda
She's a lovely honest filly and whatever she has she gives. She's a work in progress, she's light and she's only going to start thriving now with the weather. Seven to a mile (is her trip) on top of the ground and hopefully she'll win another one. I'd say she'll have a date in the July sales so we'll run her up to that point and then decide whether she goes or not.

Alto Sax
He's just learning on the job and he's going to mature,. His future is in front of him and he's put in at a claiming price, but since the McAuleys have stopped claiming we're in a bit of no man's land!. He gets the trip and he should do a nice summer hurdling job for somebody. If he's not claimed it'll be more of the same. He needs the blinkers as he just got there and parked but, as Colin said, in his own grade he's a grand horse.

That is lovely for new connections into the yard, who had horses with Gerard Butler some years ago. It was beautiful summer ground at Leopardstown the last day but we didn't think he let himself down on the ground, behind Highbury. He is a big horse and Colin said he didn't enjoy that ground either - he wants just a nice ease. Colin has no rules and when the horse became a bit 'chewy', there was no point fighting him as he has had three runs, and he did the right thing by letting him go to the front. He is an autumn horse and is definitely a next-year horse so we'll enjoy making a plan with him.

She got the job done. We obviously thought a bit of her, and she's been letting us down, and I think we're between trips with her,. You can see that she's on the leg and whether it's immaturity or not. It took a good colt to beat her in Leopardstown but I didn't think we hit the line strong so I took the view that we'd come back here and have a punt at six on a proper track. We hoped that there were no sneaky ones in there that hadn't run. Colin said of what we knew of the ones that had run we should be winning. That's the maiden box ticked, we'll go home and let her mature now. I thought she parked but she got it done. Let's give her the benefit of the doubt that she's a little bit on the immature side but at the minute I'd have a question mark over her trip.

It's not before time. He wants that ground or better, he hops off it. He ran in Gowran Park the last day and it was the worst ground I've ever walked on. He actually went to win his race and stumbled on the ground because it was that bad. It's from one extreme to the other today. He got his ground and went and did it.

It was on Colin’s recommendation that he was purchased, and Eleanora was put into him and he’s been lucky ever since. The more trouble he gets into in a race the more he seems to like it. He came back from an injury and as Colin said he’s back to himself. That’s his grade and seven furlongs. A mile is just a tad beyond him. He’s like Power Under Me. This fella handles this ground and Power doesn’t but they are the same type of horse.

She's a lovely honest filly. The ground comes all the same to her, she's handled heavy and she handled that,. She's a light filly so I didn't have any doubts she'd handle that. I probably had her wrong and Colin had her right. I thought the way the race was run it wasn't going to suit as it turned into a sprint, she's pacier than I gave her credit for. I had her down as a horse, going forward, that would go further sooner rather than later. Colin has her as having more speed than I gave her credit for, thankfully he was right. He was in the right place on her and she answered and did it well. You couldn't knock the performance. When you get those fillies you try and win a maiden to tick the first box and then you are looking for black-type and winning black-type is brilliant. I just thought we were going too slow, they were doing 14 seconds fractions and that's too slow. I was thinking we're in trouble and that speed is just going to go past us. Thankfully I was wrong about my filly, she's quicker than I gave her credit for.
