Watering continues at Galway

The track at Galway was watered for the third evening in a row, with a further 5mm applied to maintain the going as good.

The weather forecast is for a threat of some light rain clearing later today, with tomorrow to be generally dry. The first on an eight race card at Ballybrit gets underway at 3.00pm, with the €200,000 feature www.thetote.com Galway Plate going to post at 5.25pm.

Meanwhile the going at Cork ahead of their two day Bank Holiday fixture (Sunday July 31st & August 1st) remains good to firm. The course is being watered to maintain that description. Naas race next Monday (August 1st) and the Co. Kildare track is also currently good to firm.
