Carberry & Smullen head top jockey betting

In the top Flat jockey betting for the Galway Festival, Pat Smullen is the overwhelming 1/5 favourite with Fran Berry & Wayne Lordan next best in the market at 10/1 with bookmaker Paddy Powers.

Meanwhile the betting for the top National Hunt jockey is much tighter with Paul Carberry edging favouritism at 3/1, from Paul Townend who is next best at 7/2.

Robbie McNamara who will mostly ride for Dermot Weld next week is just 4/1, while Davy Russell could prove to be the value bet at 6/1.

Barry Geraghty and Tony McCoy both look overpriced as well at 8/1 and 9/1 respectively.

Andrew McNamara at 12/1 and Nina Carberry at 25/1 complete those quoted on Paddy Powers website.
