I ran him three or four times too quick, so we decided to leave him alone until there was a bit of juice in the ground. He was crying out for a bit of juice.

He got unlucky the last day where he met interference in two different places. The juice in the ground definitely helped him and he got a lovely ride from Sam who waited and waited with him. We'll go for another handicap next.

I think he got a bit sick of hurdling and the change in ground really suited him. He got a bit jarred up the last day he ran over hurdles. He'll mix it with flat and hurdles as long as he gets his ground.
