O'Connell got top-weight Hard Bought up to touch off Fort Carson, by a head, in the Munster Handicap Hurdle.

It's good to win after the last day in Thurles (2nd). It was probably a weak enough race today and he was entitled to go and do that,. He handled the ground and he travelled well. We'll see what the handicapper does and he might run again over Christmas.
