Muskatsturm was in to be claimed for E20,000 (didn't find any takers) when getting home by a neck over a mile and a quarter at Sligo forty four days ago and returning to Cleveragh the nine-year-old made that price look quite reasonable when easily taking the Derrinstown Stud Apprentice Handicap by eight lengths. He did it in style. He's had wee problems and was off for a bit,. It's eight years since he was hurdling and I was thinking about retiring him after this but I might rethink it now. Keith gave him a peach of a ride and made his way forward at the right time. A good horse is a good horse and he was always one.
