Myself and JJ always thought this was a really good horse,. I made a mistake running him at Clonmel. He was third and went up 6lb for it. I think he’s a good horse and the softer the better for him. I wouldn’t run him back too quickly. He’s hardy but he seems to take three weeks. He should have a good future over fences. He won first time out for me and I don’t have him that terribly long. He’d run well the first day and then kind of make a liar out of you the next time. I could never figure it out. I was coming here today looking at the paper thinking ‘how is this lad 33/1’. I was thinking that maybe they know something that I don’t know!
