It wasn't the obvious race to run him in, a maiden hurdle, but it came along and we took our chance. He was getting a nice bit of weight from the top horse. His runs up the north (at Downpatrick) proved that he wants three miles . at least. He has been improving and we'll see if we can win another hurdle along the line. He's not very big but he jumps well and hopefully he'll jump a fence. That's my first winner for JP McManus so that's an important one.
