After race at Gowran Park Wed, 4th Sep, 2019 (1st)  we were borderline running him because of the ground, we thought it wasn't just the way he wants it and he wants really good ground. I thought it was a nice performance. We did a bit of work with him the other morning and Shane rode him so he knew him, he knew what his strengths and weaknesses might be. Down at the bottom of the hill I thought he had it all to do but he stayed on strong. He is just getting his act together and you probably wouldn't be running every couple of weeks, let him relax and settled and go back to himself. After the last day it took him a while to settle again after it but that was his first race so he was entitled to that. Where we go now I don't know we're just happy with today. Oliver McKiernan

After race at Cork Fri, 12th Jul, 2019 (1st)  We like him. He was a little bit anxious early on and we backed off him but he settled now and has matured in the last couple of months,. He travelled in the race really well and is a horse who has lots of gears. We bought him on this day last year for 12,000gns and he is a grand horse. I'm not sure if we have any horses for Galway. Whether we bring him or not I'm not sure. He'll go up the hill anyway, he jumps well and he would win a flat maiden also. Healy's Pub was my last bumper winner (in October 2002) and the pub has even closed as well! Oliver McKiernan
