After race at Limerick Sat, 18th Oct, 2025 (1st)  That is our first Listed horse and is my biggest win. It mightn't have been the strongest race but it still took winning, it is a lovely pot and the (Complete Package) syndicate are enjoying it. He is a big raw horse and is improving all the time so the dream is still alive. He is learning about the game and once he stays in one piece, he has a bright future. He won't go on winter ground so we'll put him away now until next spring. The syndicate are mad to travel (to Britain) but it was me all along who was holding back. We can now start about thinking about the likes of the Aintree festival and he has such a laid-back way of racing that you could aim him at a lot of different places. I was also delighted with Carrigg Island although Darragh (O'Keeffe) said he was leaning into the cut-up ground. He will make a lovely novice chaser next summer. Eoin Christopher McCarthy

Thu, 25th Sep, 2025  His owners include TJ and Dave Ryan who hurled for Limerick and the whole syndicate are coming to Listowel since they were children, so this is a big meeting for them. He is a lovely horse but things just didn't go his way in Bellewstown when he got shuffled back at the start. While everything went wrong, he still managed to run a lovely race. The drying ground was a huge help. He is a gorgeous, big, good looking horse and the only reason we were able to buy him for only €8,000 was nobody knew anything about the stallion (Shadow Gate). He will make a lovely chaser. I'll talk to the boys but he could go to Cheltenham in October. Eoin Christopher McCarthy

After race at Tipperary Wed, 14th May, 2025 (1st)  He was a big weak horse and just got light after a few runs. The lads (Complete Package Syndicate) that own him know the game and were good to give him time and a bit of patience. He got strong for the break, and I’m delighted to get a winner for them.
