we're delighted with that and delighted that we have a soft ground horse! The key to him is soft ground and he loves it. On that ground out there, any horse that is half-thinking about it, will not win and will not get home. Colin was good at him. He won with blinkers last year and we left them off the last day with freshness but it was a good call to put them back on today. We'll cherry-pick his races and he was well advised to us by Katie McGivern, who has been very lucky for us, and is a fun horse for Vincent and Geraldine (Gaul). The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Zelaniya, trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. P.J. Smullen, rider of Zelaniya trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped very quickly two furlongs.
