The crowd figure at Punchestown today, which was incomparable with last year's rain soaked corresponding figure, was 16,410.

There were just five races this day last year (with the Gold Cup being postponed) when 11,517 braved the elements. A more comparable figure was 2011 when 17,261 passed through the turnstiles on the this day.
