Weather Forecast

Some showers due tonight and into tomorrow morning (approx 2-3mm). Mostly dry tomorrow with some passing light showers. More persistent rain due on Monday and Monday night (up to 10mm) clearing to showers during Tuesday. Another spell of persistent rain forecast Tuesday night (up to 10mm). Rain will clear Wednesday and the remainder of the week looks reasonably dry.

Watering Update

Approximately 3.5million gallons of water has been applied to the hurdle and chase tracks since last Friday, 13th April. Watering of the hurdle and chase tracks will continue today, but based on the unsettled forecast watering of the hurdle and chase tracks will not be undertaken on Sunday 22nd April. If the forecast rainfall does not materialise or the forecast changes, watering will recommence on Monday in order to ensure the ground remains no quicker than good for the first day of the Festival. If necessary, watering will continue throughout the week in order to maintain Good ground
