The going description at Punchestown has changed slightly ahead of today's eight race card which is set to commence at 1.30.

On the chase and cross country course it's now soft. On the hurdle and bumper course meanwhile it's soft, yielding in places.

Clerk of the Course Brendan Sheridan said: "We were speaking with Met Éireann earlier on regarding the wind, and they're saying it's at it's sort of strongest now and through the morning, and to ease in the afternoon. We'll continue to monitor the situation going forward."
