Royal Ascot Going Update

The going for the first day of Royal Ascot which begins at 2:30pm this afternoon is Good on the straight course and Good (Good to Soft in places) on the round course.

It has been dry since Sunday morning. Thundery showers are possible from late afternoon today through to tomorrow morning.

Temperatures for the week are expected to range between 19 and 22 degrees Celsius.

The stalls on the straight course will be in the centre, on the round course they will be positioned on the inner.

The running rail on the round course is positioned three yards out from approximately nine furlongs out until the entrance to the home straight. This rail will remain in position until Thursday.

In tomorrow's Roya;l Hunt Cup at 5:00pm Crazy Horse is a non-runner (lame) and is set to be replaced by the first reserve War Glory.
