Aunty Audrey recorded her second success of the season at Gowran, as she took the second divide of the Gowran Handicap.

A winner here in September, the Pat Flynn trained four-year-old since finished fifth and seventh, and was sent off a 6/1 chance today, having opened on-course at 8s.

Settled behind the leaders by Ben Coen, the chestnut daughter of Zoffany was pushed along in third as they entered the straight.

She was ridden and got to the front over a furlong from home, keeping on well from there to score by a length and a quarter.

Well-backed handicap debutant Born To Frolic (12s this morning and from 9s into 13/2 on-course) finished second under Shane Foley for Andy Oliver, while the ten-year-old Dinkum Diamond (10s to 8s) was a length and a half back in third. Chaparral Dream who was backed from 11/2 into 7/2 favouritism on-course, could only manage fifth under Declan McDonogh for Adrian McGuinness.

Flynn said afterwards: "She's a nice little filly and has won twice here this year. He (Ben Coen) said she felt great and he's a good young fella. I'm delighted for her owner Simon Girvan who is very loyal.

"We'll find another handicap for her and she’ll go to Dundalk."
