Tommy Stack, runner-up with Diamond Fields in the opener at Cork, went one better half-an-hour later in the Follow Us On Twitter Handicap as Barbeque swooped late under Billy Lee. Longfield Lad blazed a trail on the far rail as a lowish draw proved an advantage, and the pace-setter was only collared inside the final furlong by Enigma Code

However as soon as that one struck the front he was immediately challenged by Barbeque, who stayed on well to score by three quarters of a length at odds of 5/1.

Enigma Code denied the staying on Clear Focus by a neck, with Avalanche filling the placings in fourth as Longfield Lad weakened to finish fifth.

Stack's son and assistant Fozzy said, "She didn't travel in the early part of the race but Billy rides well and she needs an ease (in the ground). She'll run in those handicaps again whenever it suits."
