Big Debates (11/2) built on last month's reappearance win at Cork when landing the two-mile handicap chase in the hands of Phillip Enright.

The race set up nicely for the latter as Kitty Galore set a strong pace before coming back to the field racing to two out. The Robert Tyner-trained winner had crept into contention travelling best at that point and headed Gallyhill at the last before staying on to beat that rival by six lengths.

Tyner, also amongst the winners at Punchestown on Monday with Sir Bob, said: “I'd say he just handled the ground better than the others, it was very gluey out there. It was music to my ears when I heard it was a bit sticky as I thought it would really suit him.

“He'll probably go over hurdles, he probably looked more impressive there than he was because of the ground.

“I'd say we'd be on the edge now with chasing and we'll probably look at a hurdle race somewhere for him.”
