The opening race this afternoon at The Curragh, The Donovan Printing EBF Maiden was won won by the Jim Bolger trained Eireannach under Kevin Manning in the colours of the trainers wife Jackie Bolger.

Bolger said afterwards, "We step him up in trip later on and you probably won't see him for awhile. He goes on any ground."
