Coeur Sublime quickened away impressively to justify his short price in the Daly Farrell Accountants Beginners Chase at Gowran Park.

The Henry de Bromhead-trained gelding, third behind Ferny Hollow in Grade 1 company on his last outing, went to post a 1/6 shot in this afternoon's contest.

Rachael Blackmore tracked the leaders on the hotpot and after a sticky jump five from home he was sent up to dispute at the following fence.

The 2019 Triumph Hurdle runner-up went on at the third last. Duchess Ravenwaves tried to throw down a challenge two from home but wasn't helped by a loose horse.

It made no difference anyway as Coeur Sublime asserted over the last and sprinted clear on the run-in to record a ten length success.

De Bromhead said:- “He jumped great apart from the last one down the back. I’m delighted with him and he’s a class horse.

“He’s entered in the Arkle and he’ll get an entry in the Grand Annual. We’ll see what the handicapper thinks and decide nearer the time.”
