Trainer Gavin Cromwell sent two horses across the Irish Sea today and returned with a double.

Sbraase, the 5/4 favourite, got up in the final strides under Robert Winston to take the extended mile and a half handicap by a neck.

In the nightcap, 5/2 favourite Wavepoint was ridden clear by Kieran O'Neill to score by six lengths.

Cromwell missed out on an across-the-card treble when Lady Camelot finished third in the Eventus Handicap on day one of the Galway Festival.
