The ground at Gowran Park is now Soft. There is an unsettled forecast with heavy rain expected during racing.

The first of seven Flat races is off at 2.05pm.

There has been early money for John McConnell's Sir Dotti in the seven-furlong handicap at 2.35pm. The Dandy Man colt has been unplaced in all seven outings to date. He has a first-time hood and is as short as 7/1 from 22/1.

South Forest is a notable absentee from this contest.

Meanwhile, Hanbags N Gladrags has halved in price (11/1 - 11/2) for the fillies' maiden at 3.35pm after showing promise in fifth on debut at the Curragh.
