Following 10mm of rain overnight, the ground in Navan is now Yielding. Further showers are forecast.

The first of eight races on the Flat gets under way at 1pm. Padraig Roche's Walking On Glass has attracted early support in the first split of the 1m 5f handicap at 4pm. Giselles Thunder is a steamer in the opening auction fillies' maiden - Gavin Cromwell's newcomer is 4/1 from 16/1. Fool Proof makes his handicap debut at 3pm and has been backed from 25/1 to 8/1.

Elsewhere, the going at Roscommon ahead of National Hunt racing tomorrow (at 4.40pm) is Good. The forecast is for approximately 10-15mm of rain up to and including Wednesday morning. It is expected to be mainly dry thereafter.

Meanwhile, the ground in Fairyhouse is Good, Good to Firm in places following 2mm of rain overnight. Showers are forecast today with a mainly dry day tomorrow. The track hosts a Flat card on Thursday.

Ahead of Irish Derby weekend, the ground at the Curragh is currently Good, Good to Firm in places on the round course and Good in the straight following 2.5mm of rain. There is a risk of light showers today.

There is an additional race at the Curragh on Friday - a fillies' maiden for three year olds and upwards over 1m 2f (Race 163H). It closes for entries at noon today. See https://hri-ras.ie
