Ground Changes at Punchestown

The going for the final day of the Punchestown Festival is now Yielding after 6mm of rain fell at the course overnight.

With persistent rain still falling at 10am it is likely that the ground description with change further before the start of racing.

The hurdle and chase courses are currently described as Yielding while the Cross Country course is Good.

There is fresh ground today on both the hurdle and chase courses. The first race at Punchestown is at the earlier time of 2,35pm.

Meanwhile, the ground at Sligo remains Soft. There is light rain at present and further rain is forecast. Tomorrow's card gets under way at 2.20pm.

Ahead of Monday's card at the Curragh, the going is now Yielding (on the round course) and Yielding to Soft (on the straight track). There was 5.7mm of rain overnight and it is currently raining.
