Nicky Henderson is considering a trip to the Punchestown Festival with Top Notch.

The four-year-old won his first five starts before narrowly losing his unbeaten record to Peace And Co in Triumph Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival last month.

He could attempt to bounce back in the AES Champion Four Year Old Hurdle but the trainer is keeping an eye on the ground before making a decision.

"We have the idea of going for the Champion Four Year Old Hurdle with Top Notch," said Henderson.

"I would love to run him but if we are going to come, we would look for the ground to be on the easy side.

"The same owners (Simon Munir and Isaac Souede) have Buiseness Sivola in the same race with Willie Mullins so we will just have to see.

"I expect to also be bringing some horses for the bumpers and handicaps over this year."
