Kevin Manning’s second ride back after a couple of weeks off with a shoulder problem saw him land the concluding rated race at Fairyhouse aboard Cuban Hope Jim Bolger’s Teofilo colt (6/1) made it four wins in his last seven starts as he got the better of the odds-on Royal Ascot third Eminence by a head.

It was another two and three quarter lengths back to Invasion Day in third.

The trainer’s representative Ger Flynn said afterwards “the last day in the Curragh he got a bit wound up before the race but we had him much more relaxed today.

Kevin made his mind up for him turning in. It's good to see Kevin back in the saddle and good to get him on the board before the Oaks weekend.”
