The bookmakers have taken evasive action with a couple of Curragh trainer Aidan Howard's runners at Tipperary this evening. Adhuil who has got in as first reserve, is into 15/2 from 50s for the three-year-old handicap over 1m1f at 6.00.

An hour later stable companion Carirose has been backed from 33s into 6/1 for the second division of the older horses' handicap over the same trip.

Howard also has a contender in the first division of that heat at 6.30 although Stay Local owned by J P McManus, has been a little easy to back thus far and is currently 6/1 from an opening show of 9/2.
