Here For The Craic (25/1) was very much on a going day as he took the Children Under 14 Race For Free Handicap Hurdle for Ken Budds and man-in-form Darragh O’Keeffe.

It was a sixth career success for the twelve-year-old, who’s always had a fair level of ability to go with a quirky attitude.

He had refused to race on his three previous starts under Flat rules, but jumped off fine here and took advantage of a mistake at the last by the challenging Give Battle (5/2 fav) to defeat that one by three-quarters of a length.

Let The Heirs Walk (16/1) was a further neck away in third place.

The winning trainer Ken Budds said: "He was rolling back the years today. He always had ability but didn't jump out of stalls the last few times.

"He has been flying this year and has never moved as well."
