Timmy Murphy has been handed the ride on Sizing Europe in the Boylesports Champion Chase at Punchestown next week.

The jockey is to replace the injured Andrew Lynch who was injured in a fall from Fearless Falcon in the Grade 2 novice hurdle at Fairyhouse yesterday.

Murphy does have experience of riding Sizing Europe in the past, having partnered the Champion Chaser to win the Greatwood Hurdle at Cheltenham in November 2007.

Henry De Bromhead confirmed the booking saying "Timmy Murphy will Sizing Europe next week" on the trainer's Facebook page.
