Pictures Of Home (11/4f) was the somewhat fortunate winner of the KilbegganRaces.com Handicap Hurdle at Kilbeggan today as the Ted Walsh trained, Jack Kennedy-partnered gelding capitalised on the final flight fall of leader Ellipsism

Ellipsism, under Darragh O'Keeffe, went clear with half a mile to race and while his lead had been trimmed to two and a half lengths jumping the last, met that obstacle on a long stride and crumpled on landing.

Ellipsism's exit left Pictures Of Home and Napolean Blue battling for top honours with Pictures Of Home finding more for a half-length win.

Trainer Walsh wasn't available post-race, for what was his five year old gelding's maiden success, having been a beaten favourite on three previous starts.
