Radiyka ran a lovely race on seasonal reappearance in the extended five-furlong maiden at Naas.

She was always travelling well for Chris Hayes at the forefront and went on from Furnace Creek after halfway.

She climbed the hill well in the centre of the track and went on from Furnace Creek, on the far rail, in the closing stages to post a length success at 3/1. The runner-up ran a notable race on debut at 7/1 and was the same distance in front of third-placed Moe Sedway who didn't go unbacked at 28/1.

Dermot Weld said: “She did it nicely and is a filly that will go an extra furlong. She’s a lovely-bred filly and we’ll see if we can get some black type with her.

“She’s very consistent and I thought she would be tough to beat today.”
