After taking the fifth with Notimetoserve Philip Rothwell and Andrew Ring (first double for him) quickly doubled up as they took the Go Racing In The South East '5 For #50' Handicap Chase with Cheap As Chips

The six-year-old daughter of Mr Dinos won a handicap hurdle on her last start at Clonmel, and back over the larger obstacles this afternoon, she was sent off a 5/2 chance.

The bay victor and Coolharbour Breeze (25/1) turned the eight runner contest into a two horse race, as they went clear, and remained clear throughout, with Cheap As Chips staying on best away from the last to beat the aforementioned Coolharbour Breeze by two and a half lengths.

Coldstonesober (11/1) finished best of the rest, six and a half lengths back in third under Eddie O’Connell, while the 7/4 favourite, Matsukaze was a further two and a half lengths back in fourth under Robbie Power for Tony Martin.

Philip Rothwell said afterwards: "I’m delighted with that, as she is owned by my fatherin-law, James Deegan. She loves that ground, and it wasn’t ideal with the other horse challenging her for the lead

. "I’m delighted for Andrew, he has been with me around two years and he is a dedicated man.

"He goes to the Curragh on Saturday's, and he was supposed to ride her over a few jumps on Friday, but he forgot and he rang me Friday evening and said he would come in early on Saturday morning before going to the Curragh, and he did."
