Grand National winning trainer Martin Brassil combined with nine times Champion Jockey Ruby Walsh to win the Racing Again Wednesday 9th October Handicap Hurdle at Navan today on well backed 11/4 favourite Celestial Prospect

Walsh was typically patient on the son of Galileo and Brassil later stated “Ruby was very good on him and he makes the difference.”

He added “he wants it even quicker and I'd have preferred if they hadn't watered! He'll keep on the go as long as we have decent ground; I've him entered in the Cesarewitch and we'll see how he comes out of this before making plans.”

Celestial Prospect's ownership is split four ways with one member of the group being Brassil's Grand National winner Numbersixvalverde's owner Bernard Carroll. Carroll joins

Carroll, being from Ennis, is the third winner of the day to have an interest in today's All-Ireland Hurling replay between Clare and Cork, with Corkmen Pat Mangan and Davy Russell both partnering winners earlier in the day.
