Russell to miss Thursday's action

Thu 17th Sep 2009, 13:21

Davy Russell, who got a fall from the ill-fated In Technicolor in the Seamus Mulvaney Handicap Chase at Listowel yesterday, has been stood-down from today’s meeting at the Co. Kerry Festival.

The Youghal rider has a sore shoulder and arm but expects to be back in action there on Friday.

Russell was due to partner Gonebeyondrecall in the 4.25 and Tramp Stamp in the 4.55. The ride on the former goes to Andrew McNamara whilst no one has been appointed to partner Tramp Stamp yet.

In the beginners chase there are three non-runners, Misty Isle, Paradis De Thaix and Wild Cat Mountain.
