Sprinter Sacre could end his season in Ireland after being entered for the Boylesports.com Champion Chase at Punchestown.

Nicky Henderson's charge, unbeaten in nine races over fences, successfully stepped up two-and-a-half miles in the John Smith's Melling Chase at Aintree last week but will be returning to the minimum trip if he runs on April 23.

The opposition is headed by Sizing Europe, who chased Sprinter Sacre home in the sportingbet Queen Mother Champion Chase at Cheltenham, and Cue Card, runner-up at Aintree.

Leading Irish Chaser Flemenstar, fourth after returning from a lay-off at Aintree, is another interesting entry.
