Sheishybrid (9/4f) followed up her Cork maiden hurdle win on August 1 with a success on handicap debut today, landing Ballinrobe's Hollymount Nursing Home Handicap Hurdle for trainer Noel Meade and jockey Bryan Cooper.

The daughter of Mastercraftsman raced prominently throughout and stretched clear of Faron on the run-in to beat that rival seven and a half lengths.

Cooper later said “she'll definitely appreciate going a bit further. She just lacks a gear so, even without much experience, I was keen on making it a test. Bar missing the last, she did it well and hit the line well and I'd say she's going in the right direction.

"Noel's horses are in great form and everything I'm riding for him is either winning or being placed, and his Flat horses are flying too. He's a genius and he was never going to stay quiet for too long."
