Shopping Around made it three from three at Powerstown Park, as she claimed the concluding Clonmel Handicap Chase.

Successful at the venue in February and March of 2020, the Jim Dreaper trained chestnut got another win to her name at Downpatrick in May.

Second at Limerick on her most recent start in July, the daughter of Doyen was expected to go a place better this afternoon and was sent off the well-supported 6/4 favourite (7/2 early).

Given a patient ride by Keith Donoghue, the seven-year-old raced in rear and jumped well throughout.

Switched to the outside to challenge approaching the second last, she was soon pushed along to lead, stretching clear on the run-in to score by a length-and-a-quarter. Ciankyle (10/1) finished second under Eoin Walsh for Peter Cluskey, with just three-and-a-half lengths covering the whole field of five.

Tom Dreaper, son of the winning trainer, said: "She is a lovely mare and it's her third time here and the third time she has won here. Whether that's a coincidence or not I don't know.

"Although she had form on nice ground during the summer, we were delighted to see the rain because she had won on horrific ground here twice and would cope with it a lot better than others.

"I'd say she is better fresh so the worst thing I could do was have a race in mind. I think we'll ignore her for six weeks now.

"She is a lovely fun mare going forward and is owned by lovely local people."
