Soffia completed a hat-trick when taking the featured Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Handicap at Naas.

The 5/2 favourite was following up a maiden win at the Curragh and a handicap success in Down Royal, and quickened up nicely inside the final furlong.

She asserted in the closing stages under Robbie Downey to beat True To Herself by a length and a quarter, with Elegant Drama another three quarters of a length back in third.

Winning trainer Eddie Lynam said, “I thought she was going to win easy at halfway and then I thought oh dear but she’s done it well. She’s improving and learning her game. It’s a good pot.

“I think now it’s time to go for black type and she may come back here for the Sweet Mimosa.”
