Stand Up And Fight put in a lovely display off the front to win Killarney's hunters' chase in good style.

He jumped from fence to fence for Aine O'Connor and the pair were still tanking along after two out. Na Trachtalai Abu endeavoured to make a race of it coming to the last, however, the leader popped it well and strode away from him to win by 11 lengths to the cheers of the favourite backers who took the 7/4.

The runner-up went off at 15/2 and was 21 lengths clear of third-placed Snugsborough Benny

Enda Bolger said: "There is another one of these hunter chases for him in Listowel, so we will follow that route as the better horses have gone out.

"He was on fire going around then but he is a boyo. He beat Billaway one day at Fairyhouse and the ability is there but it is just to get it out of him and Aine gets on great with him."
