The Kelly Green Laytown Maiden Hurdle was won by the Dessie Hughes trained The Rall with Roger Loughran in the saddle for owners Tom, Tony, Karl, Cyril Partnership.

The Rall returned 6/5 fav battled all to way to the line with Conor O'Dwyer's Donttellmother with Niki O'Shea in the saddle. Loughran gave his mount a strong drive from the last hurdle and stayed on to win by 1 length.
