"He's turning into a big strong horse and loves that ground and being out in front," said Shane Lyons after his brother Ger's Third Dimension had bossed the issue from the start under Colin Keane in the featured McMahon's Munster Mile Handicap at Limerick.

Nine to two favourite Third Dimension, owned by Sean Jones, left his rivals in his wake up the straight.

To Canary Row s credit he tried hard to erode the deficit from over a furlong, out but he was never going to get there and went down by a length and a half at the line.

There was four and three parts of a length to Lady Giselle in third.

"We've always thought the world of him and while he's in at the sales, it'll take an awful lot to take him from us," further revealed Lyons.

"He could go for the Navigation Stakes at Cork next week but only on soft ground."

C.P. Hoban, rider of Could Should Would trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly.
