Front-running Vischio brought up a 71/1 double for Dick Donohoe in the fillies' handicap at Tramore.

Mikey Sheehy made all on the 11/1 shot over the mile and a-half and got his fractions spot on as she prevailed by two and three-quarter lengths.

The Holy Roman Emperor mare raced nicely clear and only Queen Of Seduction had her in her sights. That rival was well off the bridle in the final quarter of a mile, but stuck to her task. She couldn't reel in the winner, though, and had to settle for second at 9/2. Coill Na Sionainne (9/1) was another two and a-half lengths back in third.

This was a first double for Donohoe who said: "That's lovely, I was hoping she'd run well. I thought she ran well in Ballinrobe. She is a good, genuine and consistent filly.

"In fairness, Mikey was good on her and maybe caught them unawares. He built up a lead and, when he didn't have to go for her too early, I was hopeful that she would get home.

"She won here before over hurdles at the August Festival and Mikey said that she went around on rollers today, so she likes the track. She is a prolific winner at this stage, she has won six races.

"I'm delighted for the owners, they are a syndicate of relations of mine. They have Goatsbridge Trout Farm down in Kilkenny.

"She will probably go to Galway now for the mares' handicap hurdle before coming back here in August for the Festival. We will play it by ear."

Donohoe also took the opening claimer with Magnetic North at 5/1.
