The featured Hollymount Nursing Home 4-y-o Handicap Hurdle was won very easily by 15/8 favourite Yafordadoe ridden by Jonathan Moore.

The Zebedee gelding took over from front-runner Laura Bullion before the final flight and was untroubled thereafter to win by a dozen lengths from Swelltime (5/2).

The Gavin Cromwell-trained winner is a progressive sort who won twice on the Flat last autumn and landed a maiden hurdle at Cork last month.

He enjoys an ease in the ground, not having won on anything faster than yielding thus far.

“He jumped and travelled well,” said winning rider Moore.

“He’s a lot nicer moving horse this year and hopefully there will be more races to be won with him.”
