Joseph O'Brien has only held a trainer's licence for a week but sent out his sixth winner when Oh Me Oh My landed the BBQ Evening At Clonmel Races Maiden Hurdle.

The 4-1 chance had no previous racecourse experience but jumped proficiently in the hands of Jody McGarvey, who always had her positioned close to the pace.

She went for home early in the straight, with her task made easier by a mistake from long-time leader Abbazagga and she held the challenge of Patricks Park by two and a half lengths.< You Can't Catch Me underlined his love of Clonmel with a clear-cut triumph in the Orchard Thieves Handicap Hurdle.

The 6-1 shot was anchored in rear in the early stages but took closer order as they approached the business end and after taking up the running after two out, jumped the last well to help seal a seven-length defeat of Hatch Hall < On Fiddlers Green was vastly superior to his opponents in the Sporting Press (Clonmel) For Printing Beginners Chase.

The 4-6 favourite travelled in a clear second until heading Valentino's Choice heading down the back, and Davy Russell didn't have to come out of second gear for him to cross the line 21 lengths ahead of Teds Island

Three jumped the last as one in the John Kennedy Motors (Toyota) Clonmel Beginners Chase, and it was Myles Ahead (11-4) who saw out his race best of all to prevail.

Ted Walsh's charge was under the pump from some way out but responded to pressure and denied Swantykay by three-quarters of a length.

Danny Mullins charted a wide course throughout on Balinaboola Lass in the Micro Dog ID Handicap Hurdle and the move reaped reward because the Tony Mullins-trained 10-1 shot ran out a decisive 16-length victor.< Pops Well struck between the flags only four days ago and followed up under Rules in the Clonmel Show Sunday 3rd July Handicap Chase, doing it the hard way from the front.
