The ground for the opening day of the five-day Punchestown Festival which begins at 3.40pm today is described as Good to Yielding on the Hurdle, Chase and Bumper tracks.
There is fresh ground for each of the five days.
The Cross Country course is Good to Firm, Firm in places.
Temperatures are expected to be slightly cooler than recent days with a high of 12.5 degrees and some light rain forecast.

Early non-runners are Clever Currency (injured), Nero Rock (temperature), Stormy Master (allergy) and Rich Belief (temperature) which are out of the first race while Rockonsoph (coughing) doesn't run in the concluding bumper at 7.35pm.
Outsider Daily Tiger (temperature) has been taken out of the Champion Chase at 5.25pm leaving six runners.
