FormscanBy Donal Murphy - Just seven runners but still a difficult contest to assess. Patsy Fagan and Najat both start off in Ireland for Peter Cluskey and Donal Kinsella respectively and they warrant respect. The former won eight times from 28 starts in the UK, winning on his most recent outing at Southwell in April. Sunset Nova is also an eight-time winner, with three of those victories coming this year alone. He will carry just eight stone three here with Cian Horgan taking 7lb off and while likely to go close, it's worth noting that he is 0 from 10 at the venue. ICE COLD IN ALEX on the other hand, is a three-time winner at the Curragh and has been placed here many times. He too will be ridden by a 7lb claimer, with Jamie Powell the man in question. King Of Bavaria and Warrior Brave are the joint top-weights and they are both sure to have plenty of supporters. The former won the Birdcatcher at Naas last year and takes a significant drop-in class after finishing down the field in a Listed contest at York on his most recent start.
