Gaelic Warrior 6.05 Punchestown, Ladbrokes Punchestown Gold Cup (Grade 1)Gaelic Warrior was supremely impressive landing the Gold Cup at Cheltenham and is a confident selection to win the Punchestown equivalent. He has three wins and a second placing from four previous visits to this course and dropping slightly in distance won't pose him any problems.
Day 2 Highlight - Punchestown Gold Cup
The superstars are out in force on the second day as Gaelic Warrior is around 11/8 to follow up on his exceptional winning performance in the Cheltenham Gold Cup.
He looks set to face joint-favourite and stablemate, Fact To File, who was a non-runner at Cheltenham due to unsuitable ground, he comes here with fresher legs.
Grangeclare West, also form the Mullins yard unseated at the first fence in the Aintree Grand National and Impaire Et Passe is also in the mix.
Close in the betting is Inothewayurthinkin who ran an eyecatching third at Prestbury Park in the Gold Cup.
