Chasing was always going to be his game and he goes away on that heavy ground. He stayed at it well and you'd be hoping he'll improve from that,.
W P Mullins
I was very pleased with him (Augustin) - he made hard work of it but I think he’ll improve an awful lot for it. I didn’t know he was ready enough to win so to do that on 2m3f on that ground means an Albert Bartlett entry and that’s where he might go. He’ll improve because he has very little done.
W P Mullins
It looked a competitive race and before the race any of the seven could have won. He was backward behind the bridle last year but is one who could continue to improve. He'd be a great three-mile horse and is very relaxed and stays going very well. He is one who should give his owner plenty of fun and it's probably best to wait and go for a winners' bumper with him next (before going jumping next season).
